Fall Spiritual Formation Programs for Adults and Children Kick-Off, September 12th

Our new Theologian in Residence, Dr. Scott Bader-Saye, will begin his first adult forum series. “Jesus in Pop Culture,” which will dive into the ways books, movies, music, and more in popular culture understand and maybe even have something to teach us about our relationship with God in Christ. The same day our Children's Programs will begin including a child-centered chapel program during worship (ages 3-third grade). And following worship, Godly Play for children ages 3-third grade will resume, and for the older children, St. Julian’s Episcopal Youth Community (grades 4 and up) will have its first ever gathering led by the Rev. Demery Bader-Saye. We hope everyone will make a point of attending church September 12th. Friends are always welcome! Please direct questions to Miles.

Seeking Religious Art for our Children’s Classroom

We are preparing our sacred space for Godly Play to begin again this fall. To create a beautiful environment for our children, I'd like to add artwork to our walls. If you have any religious paintings or prints tucked away in your home that you'd like to find a home for, please consider donating them to our children's ministry. I'd love to see a depiction of the Last Supper, perhaps the Risen Christ, Madonna and Child, etc. You can drop the items in the Godly Play room or email Amanda at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
